The 5th London-Innsbruck Colloquium on Status Epilepticus and Acute Seizures
9-11 April 2015, Imperial College, London
It is with greatest pleasure that we invite you to join us for the 5th London-Innsbruck Colloquium on Status Epilepticus and Acute Seizures, which is to be held on April 9th –11th 2015, in the Sherfield Building of the Imperial College London.
The first four colloquia were held in London (in 2007), Innsbruck (in 2009), Oxford (in 2011) and in Salzburg (in 2013), and the colloquia series has become an important landmark in the epilepsy calendar. Many of the leading world authorities in the field of status epilepticus, both in the clinical and experimental fields, will be present at the meeting, and it is our intention to maintain the traditions of the Colloquia by providing ample time for discussion and networking, within a workshop format, and a comfortable and pleasing atmosphere.
Imperial College is situated in South Kensington, one of Central London’s top locations, close to large museums, cultural institutions, historic architecture (and shopping!). London is an exciting city with numerous attractions, and as Dr Johnson remarked in 1777 ‘No Sir, when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford’. This is as true today as it was then, and we hope all attendees will have an instructive and enjoyable visit to the Colloquium and to London.
